The huge Mi-6 helicopter was used in a variety of roles with the Soviet Union, and later Russian Armed Forces. This VzPU is an airborne command post, equipped with a side looking airborne radar or SLAR. It can be found with the collection of the Central Museum of the Air Force at Monino since August 1995.
