This SB2C-4 ditched in Otay Lake, California after suffering engine failure on 28th May, 1945. Fortunately the crew were unhurt and could swim safely to shore. The hulk was recovered from the lake in 2010 and delivered to the National Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola for restoration to static display standard. I presume this is ongoing.

Ex US Navy 19075 and N4250Y under major overhaul and restoration at the Yanks Air Museum at Chino.

Previously used by a film maker. Acquired by Ed Maloney and stored at Ontario wearing only 'R92' and '1455'. Sold to the Tallichet organisation for further restoration in 1979 and registered N4250Y.
