Not many advanced aircraft made it to the start of the 1934 London - Melbourne race, and even fewer to the finish. New Zealanders McGregor and Johnnie Walker were able to take fifth place in the speed race in this new, but fairly modest machine. They acquired it through Phillips & Powis Aircraft here at Woodley, Reading. Photo from: Nationaal Archief (Netherlands)
