This is in reality 44-83624 but was produced too late to see combat in WWII, instead saw extensive service first in a highly secret project that resurrected the idea of using obsolete aircraft as radio-controlled flying bombs (MB-17G) and then as a drone-control aircraft (DB-17G) in the ground-to-air missile development program. After retirement and a seven year restoration she is now on display at the AMC Museum as 'Sleepy Time Gal' from the 381st Bomb Group.

The AMC Museum received this aircraft in the late 1980's from WPAFB in trade for B-17G 42-32076 "Shoo Shoo Baby", which had been restored by the AMC Museum.
