Leased by Loganair seasonally (Spring/Summer) in 1978/79/80 from British Antarctic Survey. It was badly damaged in gale force winds at Rothera, Antarctica, 18 Nov 81. Shipped back to the UK for possible repairs but it was decided that it was beyond economical repair. The remains were purchased in 1987 by a U.S. buyer.
