VH-EEI was leased by Qantas and operated on behalf of Air Pacific from April 1988. The complexities of aircraft leasing and tax laws saw it on the Irish register (as EI-CAI) from November 1989 to March 23 1990 when it again became VH-EEI for a few hours. Next stop was Virgin Atlantic as G-VMIA, which operated it until it was withdrawn for scrapping.
