N259S is on display at the museum and was recently repainted in Martin prototype colors with fake registration N40400. The real N40400 started life as NX93002 (c/n 9123), one of two M202 prototypes, and was first flown on 27 Jan 1947. It was later converted to M202A prototype, and in 1950 the fuselage was stretched and it became the unpressurized M404 prototype. As such it made its first flight on 21 Oct 1950, now registered N40400. It was sold to Piedmont for parts following a ground incident, and broken up in 1965.
