This early production Fulmar I was buit at Heaton Chapel and test flown from Manchester (Ringway) Airport in early 1940. It was evaluated by A&AEE at Boscombe Down later in the year. It wears the early WW2 large fin flash covering the fin. Image obtained from Faireys sixty years ago.
