This early production Fulmar I was buit at Heaton Chapel and test flown from Manchester (Ringway) Airport in early 1940. It was evaluated by A&AEE at Boscombe Down later in the year. It wears the early WW2 large fin flash covering the fin. Image obtained from Faireys sixty years ago. This photo was added on 31 December 2017, and has since been viewed 288 times. |
