This T-33 was delivered to the AMI in February 1956 and was initially based at Istrana. After service it was abandoned at Naples - Capodichino (NAP) and came to this museum in 1994.

Ex USAF. I took this shot from under the wing of a British Island Airways BAC One-Eleven (during a jump seat ride from Gatwick courtesy of Captain John Morris) to avoid any security issues despite it clearly being a non-active aircraft. Later preserved at Montagnana - Gianlino Baschirotto.
