On display at Parco Tematico dell'Aviazione near Rimini. The F-86K was the simplified export version of the F-86D with a quartet of 20mm M-24A1 cannon. In place of the Hughes E-4 fire-control system, a new MG-4 system was fitted to work in conjunction with the AN/APG-37 nose radar. A licence agreement was reached with FIAT under the NA-207 contract and the first FIAT-assembled 'K' flew in 1955. The F-86K started to equip the Aeronautica Militaire Italiana in numbers, starting with 1 Stormo at Istrana. The last AMI F-86K flew in 1973 after units converted to the Starfighter.
