Ex 42-24211 with the USAAF and operated during the inbvasion of Sicily in July/September 1943. To Algerienne de Transports Aeriens in June 1948 as F-BEFA. Later to a few other owners, keeping this registration. To Royal Air MAroc around June 1957 as CN-CCL. To The Royal Moroccan Air Force as 20669/CN-ALM. To Keenair around July 1978 as N54607. Cancelled in August 1988 and became G-BPMP around February 1989. Withdrawn from use and scheduled for restoration, which was suspended due to the Gulf War. In December 1992 corrosion was discovered, so the frame was sold to Air Atlantique for spares. Scrapped in April1995, although the nose section clearly lives on.

As USAAF C-47A 42-24211 it served in North Africa and Europe before civilianised as F-BEFA in 1948, flying for CATA, Aigle Azur, Air Atlas, Air Maroc, Royal Air Maroc as CN-CCL and the Royal Moroccan Air Force as CN-ALM/20669. Sold to Euroworld California in 1978 as N54607, it was stored at Backbushe before sale to Keenair at Liverpool where it was again stored, until sale in 1989 to Cherkley Aviation as G-BPMP and ferried to Coventry. A planned full restoration was stalled and it was broken up in 1995, but its nose section lives on at the Luchtvaart Hobby Shop near Amsterdam Schiphol Airport.
