Loaned by the Air Council to the Shuttleworth Collection in late 1959. First post-restoration flight on 28 September 1972. Here on a rare appearance away from its Old Warden base as part of the air display. The CAA later insisted all airworthy Shuttleworth Collection aeroplanes should have civil registrations, so unused G-AANJ was allocated in October 1981. The loan was reconfirmed in 1994 and maintenance serial 9239M was issued. The last flight was on 20 November 2003 when the loan was terminated and it went to RAF Cosford on 12 November 2003 where it has remained since in a dismantled state.

Loaned by the Air Council to the Shuttleworth Collection in late 1959. Seen here on static display, the first post-restoration flight was by Allen Wheeler two months later on 28 September 1972. The CAA later insisted all airworthy Shuttleworth Collection aeroplanes should have civil registrations, so unused G-AANJ was allocated in October 1981. The loan was reconfirmed in 1994 at which point maintenance serial 9239M was issued.
