Still wearing Arabic titles from a deployment to the Persian Gulf, Alouette III 0735 has the tail of 0681 attached and is seen here in storage for the museum.

There was one prototype plus eight production aircraft built of the L-39V (V for Vlečná - tug), a single-seat target tug version for Czechoslovakia, that was equipped with a 1,700 m (5,600 ft) cable to tow a KT-04 target. This example was TOC in 1976 with the 1st Air School Regiment, retired in December 1992 and now on display at the super Muzeum Letecké a Pozemní Techniky.
