After 37 years of service with the Lee County Mosquito Control District, N834M was retired in 2012 and flown to the Wings of Dreams Aviation Museum at Keystone Heights, FL on January 23, 2013 where it will be put on display.

Douglas C-47B converted to C-47D in 1946. From July 1968 operated by 4 SOS, 14 SOW, in South Vietnam in support of the Unit's AC-47D gunships, receiving the same camouflage and 'EO' code. Serial marked on fin as AF.043.183. Retired to Davis Monthan in November 1969.

With only faded remnants of the titles still visible, and withdrawn from use.
