Arriving for the static display of the next day: 4th November is the celebration of all the Italian Armed Forces. Traditionally it was an open day for every armed force's base/station. Milano hosts the headquarter of the 1st Regione Aerea and the military area of Linate airport is used for liason flights.

This airframe was withdrawn from use approxiamtely in 2010 and used as a preserved display aircraft at least two occasions: 2011 in grey colour and 2016 in desert colour at a mall.

This is the original IDS airframe that was converted to ECR in 2000. It was assigned to the 155 Gruppo / 50 Stormo in Piacenza before the conversion and returned to 50 Stormo in 2001 without guns as a full ECR airframe.

This aircraft wear the original unit's codes 36-37, assigned at the delivery on 24th March 1984. Later becoming 36-36 in the '90s, after a short assignment to 6th Stormo as 6-02. As an original IDS airframe it is equipped with the two 27 mm Mauser guns, that were removed when the aircraft was upgraded and modified as a full ECR airframe.

This MBB built Tornado flew first on 24 Feb'89 and was delivered to the Marineflieger (Germany Naval Aviation) on 27 Apr'89. It started to fly with Marinefliegergeschwader (MFG) 2. It carried a special colour scheme from '02-'05 and was transferred to the Luftwaffe in '05 when MFG 2 was disbanded. It was assigned to Aufklärungsgeschwader 51 that later was redesignated into Taktisches Luftwaffengeschwader 51. The special markings were applied for celebrating the 70th anniversary of 50°Stormo and the 65th anniversary of 155°Gruppo at Piacenza-San Damiano. The fuselage sides carry a large panther paw print, and the top of the fuselage shows a panther's head (from the badge of 155°Gruppo, the 'Black Panthers'). The fin carries the sword and arrow design from the 50°Stormo badge. MM7027 was withdrawn from use on 1 April 2011 and was stored at Piacenza.

This Tornado made its first flight on 16 July 1987, was delivered to the Marineflieger (German Naval Aviation) on 13 October 1987 and assigned to Marinefliegergeschwader (MFG) 2. When MFG 2 was disbanded in 2005, the Tornado was transferred to the Luftwaffe and assigned to JBG 32. The aircraft is seen here while undergoing heavy maintenance at home base, Lechfeld. In 2008, the Tornado was withdrawn from use and most probably scrapped soon after.

This Tornado IDS made its first flight on 24 September 1987 and was delivered to the Luftwaffe on 10 November 1987. It was withdrawn from use in 2011 and scrapped by April 12. Some remains of the aircraft were offered for sale. 45+79 is seen here during while taking off from its homebase during the Electronic Warfare Live Training Exercise.
