On that year the small grey codes were applied to this aircraft, that in summer still wore the original white large ones. Here photographed arriving in Linate for the static display of the annual Armed Forces day. Two years later this aircraft was painted with the wonderful Tiger Meet colours.

Arriving in Linate for the static display of the Armed Forces day, this aircraft was written off during a dramatic take off crash at Villafranca on 26 July 1988. The aircraft did not lift off, hit a VOR antenna, exploded killing the pilot and throwing debris on the close motorway.

Equipped with the then new 500 litres tip tanks and with two luggage pods at stations 2 and 5 instead of pylon tanks.

Captured while departing on its delivery flight to the Koninklijke Luchtmacht. First Flight was on 23 September 1986.

Arriving for the static display of the next day: 4th November is the celebration of all the Italian Armed Forces. Traditionally it was an open day for every armed force's base/station. Milano hosts the headquarter of the 1st Regione Aerea and the military area of Linate airport is used for liason flights.
