One of some six Hercules on display here, initially accepted as a C-130A by the Air Force in February 1957. In mid-1970 it was converted to AC-130A gunship configuration and served in Vietnam with the 16th SOS named "Ultimate End", also being involved in the rescue of the SS Mayaguez and surviving combat damage on several occasions. Reassigned to the 919th SOW at Duke Field, FL in 1975, it was retired from active service in October 1994, flying the short distance from Duke to Hurlburt Field for preservation in the Air Park

Delivered 07.57 as a C-130A. Modified to AC-130A in 08.70. Displayed at Hurlburt Field FL in the markings of 16 SOS which it served in South Vietnam in 1971.
