Ex USN and South Vietnamese air force aircraft that was flown to Thailand in April 1975 and abandoned. Recovered c.1980 and shipped to Chino. Registered N39149 in 1983 but remained stored. Became N655TC in 2000 and an active project. Flew in 2009 in USAF Vietnam War markings and now based in Tennessee.

C-47 of 41 Troop Carrier Squadron of the USAAF's 5th Air Force at a remote airfield in PNG in 1943. Named "Queenie", it is being closely examined by a group of indigenous people as bigwigs pose for their photo. The aircraft survived the war only to be scrapped in 1947 after its arduous service.
