The CH-47Fs of the Fuerzas Aeromóviles del Ejército de Tierra (FAMET, Spanish Army Airmobile Force)are assigned to the 5th Transport Helicopter Battalion (BHELTRA V), based at the "Coronel Maté" air base in Colmenar Viejo. Of the seventeen CH-47Fs the FAMET operates (as of November 2025), thirteen are existing CH-47Ds that have undergone a deep modernization, in which all possible components of the helicopters that the FAMET had operated since 1973 were used. The FAMET will eventually get eighteen "Woodland Desert Sage" camouflaged Foxtrots.

This old command C-135 sits amongst compatriots in the Arizona desert. She served previously with the 4th ACCS/28th WG at Ellsworth before being retired to AMARG during June 92 where she still survives with the PCN/Inventory No. AACA0022.
