Refurbished in 1977 and issued to 8 Sqn 5th May 1977 to replace WL738 as a pilot-training aircraft with the unit. Coded A. Suffered a heavy landing at Lossiemouth during 1980 and declared Cat.5(GI). Issued with maintenance serial 8651M and used by the Battle Damage Repair Flight at Lossiemouth until transferred to the Fire Section 20th February 1981 and scrapped July 1982.
