The aircraft entered the dutch register on July 18, 1960. It was registered to several different owners before the registration was cancelled. The aircraft became N8382E and was transported to Hasselt (EBZH) for restoration on March 12, 2011. At the time of the upload the aircraft was still listed as being at Hasselt.

Sporting "325"on the fuselage, which was its number during the 1977 Paris Air Show. The aircraft used Eelde as a stop on the way home. It was accompanied by An-2TD SP-DNO (c/n 1G119-70), An-2TD SP-DNP (c/n 1G148-60), TS-11 SP-DOF (c/n 3H-1625), Socata Rallye 110ST SP-WGB (c/n 2854, which together with SP-WGC served as 'example' for the license-built PZL.110 Koliber) and M-18 Dromader SP-PBZ (c/n 1ZP01-03).

Ex. Polish Air Force 1606. Together with SP-DNP (c/n 1G148-60) it visited Eelde on the way home from Farnborough.

On August 14 1965, against all advice due to poor weather, the pilot wanted to make a flight to Le Touquet (France). After a stop at Oostende, he wasn't heard from again. Eyewitnesses reported the aircraft flying very low over the beach, dodging rock formations and houses. It is believed he desperately wanted to remain visual with the ground. During these steep turns, it is likely that he got disoriented and lost control of the aircrafl. It crashed in the water off Audresselles and was destroyed. 4 people lost their lives in the event.

Registered on February 26 1962, cancelled September 27, 1973. The aircraft then became G-BCFS in late May 1974 and LN-MAZ in early January 1977. At the time of the upload it was still active as the latter. Unfortunately I don't recognize the airport, but if you do I'd love to hear!

The entire Junkers fleet of the Rijksluchtvaartschool in one photo. PH-UBA was built in 1936 and served the Luftwaffe in WWII. On Oct 16, 1945 it was serialled VM985 of the RAF Enemy Aircraft Storage & Servicing Unit at Fuhlsbuttel, Germany. Early Apr 1946 it was transferred to the RAF 131 (P) squadron at Ahlhorn, Germany and days later prepared for delivery to the Netherlands. Registered PH-UBA on Jun 21, 1946. Cancelled on Oct 1, 1949 and the aircraft was sold two monts later. In 1950 it was sold to Avio-Diepen as a testbed for BMW aircraft engines and later scrapped. The other two aircraft are PH-UBB and PH-UBC.

Built in 1943 and served the Luftwaffe in WWII. Ferried from Norway to Fuhlsbuttel and coded VN743 of the R.A.F. Enemy Aircraft Storage & Servicing Unit at Fuhlsbuttel, Germany. To the RAF 8402 ADW (Air Disarmament Wing) on March 20, 1946 and prepared for delivery to the Netherlands a day later. Registered to the Rijksluchtvaartschool on October 14, 1946. In December 1949 the aircraft was sold for scrapping,.

Built in 1943 and served the Luftwaffe in WWII as 3K-LN. Coded VM927 of the RAF Enemy Aircraft Storage & Servicing Unit at Fuhlsbuttel, Germany in October 1945. 3 weeks later, the aircraft was ferried from Norway to Fuhlsbuttel. Transferred to the RAF 131(P) Sqn at Ahlhorn (Germany) on March 2, 1946. Prepared for delivery to the Netherlands 2 days later. On July 13, 1946 it was registered to the Rijksluchtvaartschool as PH-UBB. The registration was cancelled on September 30, 1949 and the aircraft was sold for scrapping in December 1949.

The writing on the tail reads "real aviators fly taildraggers". Although not always true, still somewhat hard to dispute.

LN-BGY visited Eelde several times in its life and as such it's impossible to determine the exact date of the photo. The aircraft was damaged beyond repair at Skedsmo (Norway) on May 7, 1988. The registration was cancelled in September 2004 and the wreckage is in the possession of the Flyhistorisk Museum in Sola.

Ex. N714A and PH-FIO. Acquired by Schreiner Airways in September 1986. City Air appears to have been a short-lived Schreiner subsidiary in 1986/1987 (more info welcome). PH-SFB was leased to NLM Cityhopper from 1987 until 1990, and painted in their full livery. The registration was canceled in November 1990, when the aircraft became HB-ITQ, then HA-ACK, I-MLQT, 9H-MQT and 5Y-SEP. Stored at Nairobi by 2022.

A nice lineup of aircraft on the apron; The Stellair C-47A (F-GEOM) can't be missed and the 2 warbirds (P-40 N94466/SU-E and Spitfire G-ASJV MH434/ZD-B) in front are a great addition. Further in the background are a handful of Cessna's from the RLS, together with a Bonanza and a Citation 500 on the far right.

Ex. F-BHLG and 5R-MHC, later became SE-IRH, LN-AAF, N8181Z and C-FXAJ. Its current status is unknown. OY-ANM in the background is a Cessna 421B (c/n 421B0128). It was on the Danish register between 1975 and 1978. that aircraft is ex. Air Marine but in these colors it belonged to Korn- og Foderstofkompagniet A/S. It later became N9027D, which was cancelled in May 2013.

Part of the US Army 207th Aviation Company and based at Heidelberg AAF (where it arrived from). Later modified to a C-12C. The aircraft eventually departed to Dusseldorf. In October 1999 the aircraft was reregistered as N636B (as a Beechcraft A200 Super King Air). It is still active at the time of the upload.

Ex. DE526, G-AHUT, D-EDIS and N38013. On May 16, 1980 the aircraft was written off at Hadsund after an engine failure (and subsequent stall) during departure.

On September 14, 1983, the World Championship speedway was held in Norden, Germany. The British participants were considered the biggest contenders for the title. Their supporters were flown in to Eelde and then transported to Norden. For this, BAF Herald G-BAVX and Viscounts G-AVJB and G-AOHV (all pictured here) visited Eelde. Dan Air HS-748 G-BHJC and Air UK Fokker 27 G-BCDN plus a number of smaller aircraft reportedly flew in as well. Built in 1967, G-BAVX was still sporting the basic livery of Aero Turbo Panama.

Operated by the police and visiting Eelde (together with PH-RPE, FA337G Super Skymaster). The PH-RPC was cancelled in September 1984 and later became G-BLMX, G-BZVB. At the time of the upload the aircraft was still active as the latter. The PH-RPE was acquired in November 1974 and cancelled late July 1988. The aircraft later became G-BOYR and RA-4147/RA-04147. It appears to have last flown as G-BOYR, which was cancelled in November 2011. Current status unknown.

The aircraft spent its entite life with Lufthansa. At the time of the upload it is preserved at the Rechlin aviation museum in Germany.

On November 29, 1988 the aircraft was involved in an accident at Hijken. It suffered a rough running engine and eventually it stopped working entirely. It turned out the crankshaft had broken. A wheels-up landing was carried out in a field. Damage was minor and the aircraft was airworthy again a few days later. In February 1989 the registration was canceled. In September 1990 the aircraft was transported to the TU Delft for instructional purposes. Eventually the aircraft was scrapped in 2010 and per 2019 only the wings were preserved at the TU Delft.
