In October 1981, as the plane was about to touch down at Prague (PRG) the flightcrew deployed the spoilers when the aircraft was too high, with the result that the plane crashed down on to the runway and broke in two. This section of the fuselage is now used as a shed/outhouse/coup in a field in Hostouň.

After July 1994 it flew for Greenair but was leased from Vnukovo airlines as RA-85674 and then incorporated into the Vnukovo fleet after the lease was terminated. From June 1995 the plane started flying for Active Air and a lease followed to KTHY before being returned to Vnukovo in August 1996. It then flew with East Line and Sibir (both as RA-85674) before being scrapped at Novosibirsk (OVB) sometime before 2016.
