This 1978-built L-39 was previously '174' with the NVA machine and '28+26' after unification. It went to the HuAF in 1993 until the type was retired from service in 2009. The plane belonged to the Dongó (Hornet) Squadron at Kecskemét and flew from 2005 in a hornet-patterned paint job for the Kecskemét air show but this was soon changed to this shark-themed scheme. It is now on display at the very interesting RepTár Szolnoki Repülőmúzeum.

This L-39 was originally '145' with the NVA and it then became '2807' after unification. It was transferred to the HuAF for use as a spares source and is now on display at the amazing Kecel Haditechnikai park.

This aircraft stands as a quasi gate guard at the hotel that is part of the wonderful Technical Museum in Speyer. The orange glow in the bottom left of the frame is from an adjacent street light.

Preserved at the Hotel am Technik Museum is this former East German jet trainer. Its East German serial was 147.
