Strickingly, following service with the 67th TRW, the recce Spook returned to Europe, this time for aircraft battle damage repair training at Birburg AB (Germany). It arrived at Bitburg on 1 December 1989 and stayed there at least up to April 1996. Then it was fully scrapped.
