On this lovely spring day, this Q-25 was loaded into a C-17A of the Heavy Airlift Wing, the attack helicopter departed for the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA) mission. Q-25 left for a reason, earlier in the MINUSMA mission, on 17 March 2015, a Dutch Apache sadly crashed. This Q-25 was used as a replacement helicopter.

The spy plane made its last flight on 19 March 1990 and was handed over to NASA at Dryden (CA). Became N832NA but returned to the at Beale AFB (CA) USAF after an overhaul at Palmdale on 30 June 1995. Never retire a Blackbird! After its second operational life, it again was handed over to NASA on 14 October 1999. was stored at Edwards AFB (CA) and eventually dismanteled at Dryden. Delivered to the USAF on 20 December 1978, flew most of its carrer with the 49th Tactical Fighter Wing from Holloman AFB (NM), and is seen here as the wing-bird during a deployment to Gilze Rijen. Apparently the Eagle enjoyed the Netherlands as it arrived as RETRO54 at Soesterberg for service with the 32nd TFS from8 January 1992 onwards. After the Wolfhounds, it was moved to the 101st FS and then went into storage at 309th AMARG from 1 October 2007. It received inventory code FH0179. On 31 March 2021, it the aircraft was moved to HVF West, Tucson (AZ) for scrap.
