That's what you get for doing your run-up and not keeping track of the wind! Photo was presumably taken in the late 1950s by Harm Reinders and the subject is a Texan of the Rijksluchtvaartschool (which is now known as the KLM Flight Academy). Learning to fly by means of a Texan. How cool is that!

This example flew for KLM from 1976 until 1982. After that, it became B-83 of the 299 Sqn. of the Royal Dutch Air Force. Withdrawn from use in 2000.

A pretty rare photo of a Biman Bangladesh Fokker 27, here still carrying a Dutch registration, but with a Biman paint scheme. This airframe was built in 1972 and I assume the photograph was taken in the mid 1970s. It is ex. PH-EXC, PH-EXB and lived on as S2-ABO, OY-SLE and D-AELE before getting withdrawn from use at WDL.
