Ex-N36998. Later SE-IIY, N36998. Written off 26-Jun-1995 during forced wheels-up landing at Alamosa, Colorado after being refueled with jet fuel.

In its infancy, Ryanair operated this Convair on lease from Partnair briefly on services to Eire. Shame their aircraft aren't quite so interesting nowadays! Originally a KLM CV-340 which later flew with Mohawk and Lake Central who had her converted to 580 before becoming Allegheny. After the Norwegian phase, sold as C-FKFL and in 2017 current with Air Freight NZ (ZK-KFH)

Here is LN-BWN just a few months after my LHR shot, now in the colours of Partnair, again a very smart livery. Sold to Kelowna as C-GKFJ in 6.91 and nowadays current with Air Freight NZ as ZK-KFJ
