The 'Fairey multi-gun fighter biplane' performing is the Fairey Fantôme prototype, designed for Belgium, which first flew on 6 June 1935 and crashed at Evere on 17 July. Painted to represent a Spitfire from one of the RAF's two Norwegian squadrons (331 and 332 Sqd) with Norwegian spinner and flag.

This PBY-6A was built for the US Navy 46645 in 1945 before being sold and reregistered N10013 in 1956. It then went to Canada as CF-IZO and reregistered C-FIZO in 1983. In 1990 it was sold to the Norwegian Armed Forces Museum where it was restored to flying condition with the tail fin of the PBY-5A. It was flown along the coast to the Norwegian Aviation Museum in Bodø where it is currently displayed. On the way, the aircraft made low passes over the homes of former Catalina crew members. The real FP535 was Catalina Mk III that was lost on a search and rescue flight north of Iceland 5 November 1942.

Taxying in after displaying. Allocated maintenance serial 8710M in November 1981, used at RAF Halton. To Suffolk Aviation Heritage Museum at Foxhall (Martlesham Heath) in November 2021.

Bringing in British Prime-Minister David Cameron, to visit the Nuclear Security Summit in The Hague. The aircraft went in storage less than a year later and is still for sale at date of upload.

Participated in the flying display. To Gütersloh as decoy, allocated 8423M, 9th July 1974. Sold as scrap 26th October 1982.

ZG531 and ZG532 of 4sq attended to the Farnborough Iternational Airshow 1992 with a nice looking tail. This ZG532 made its first flight on 12 October 1991 and was delivered to the Royal Air Force on 12 February 1992. It was assigned to 4sq. The aircaft did not end its military career in a healthy condition as it crashed on 14 July 1999. The pilot experienced control problems during air combat manoeuvring over Cornhill. The pilot ejected safely and the Harrier came down near Cornhill-on-Tweed.

Nobody was hurt and the house still stands today. Sgt Plt Ernest Lomax could not exit a spin and bailed out over Brighton.
