In 1969 Norway became the first Orion operator in Europe when it received five P-3Bs. This is one of four P-3C-IIIs current with 333 Sqn; all have undergone the UIP (Update Improvement Program), completed in 3.00 It also carries the International Inspection Pennant of the Norwegian Coast Guard on the top of the fin, as it is also used on Coast Guard duties.
