Ornge started repainting its 12 Leonardo AW139 fleet in a new blue, white and orange colour scheme in 2021. The Ontario government funded agency provides air medical transports for the residents of Ontario with eight PC-12s and 12 AW139s, which are based in Toronto CYTZ (2), London, Sudbury, Ottawa, Thunder Bay, Kenora and Moosonee. Ten AW139s were delivered in 2010-2011, one in 2016 and one in 2018. C-GYNL is seen at the London Airport maintenance base. It was assembled at the Agusta Helicopter Corp. factory in Northeast Philadelphia Airport (KPNE) and delivered to Canada in December 2010.

The Ontario Ministry of Health's air ambulance program upgraded from Sikorsky S-76As to AW139s starting in 2010 and Ornge was created as an independent provincial government-financed agency to operate the program and its aircraft. This AW139 was delivered in Nov. 2010 and seen at Kingston Airport between patent transfer flights Sep. 2012. It was visiting from the Ornge helicopter base in Ottawa (YOW) or Toronto (YTZ).

This Sikorsky S-76A, C-GIMZ owned by Canadian Helicopters (CHL) was an air ambulance in Ontario for many years and is seen at the old heliport at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto, which now has a rooftop pad. Ontario launched a helicopter EMS program in the late 1970s using contract helicopters, with the first "Bandage 1" in Toronto, a Bell 212. Ornge was formed in 2007 to take over management of the EMS program and later paid $28 million for 11 used CHL S-76As, including C-GIMZ. These were replaced by a fleet of AW139s starting in 2010. Some of S-76s were donated to tech schools.

In 2007, Ornge was formed to take over the operation of the Province of Ontario's Air Ambulance organization. In 2009, Ornge began adding ten Pilatus PC-12s to the helicopter fleet for longer range patient transfers. This one was delivered September 17, 2009 and is current at the time of uploading. Two of the PC-12s have been sold to other operators.

Built in 1981, used by Canadian Ambulance Services Ornge. The S-76's have since been replaced by AW139's, of which Ornge has 12.

Ornge AW-139 departs the Lake of the Woods District Hospital. Ornge is a non-profit charitable organization that provides air ambulance service for the Province of Ontario.
