The two jets were the Synchro Pair and collided during an Opposition Barrel Roll. XX233 crashed onto the airfield and a damaged XX253 diverted to Heraklion with the rest of the team. XX253 was restored for static exhibition and is now displayed outside the teams hangar at Scampton.
