Acquired by Venezuela's national airline in 1975, she survived another five years after this shot (I think taken from the boarding bus) on my first visit to Caracas, where I later enjoyed a great ramp tour

New with Viasa in 10.79, this DC-10 was repossessed by Iberia in 1998 becoming EC-GTD. Although repainted in 4.99, she was wfu by 11.00 and ferried to Mobile-Greenwood 7.05, b/u 2009
