On display at RAF Museum Cosford. This Hurricane was initially stored with No. 22 MU at RAF Silloth, later assigned to No. 1682 BDTF (Bomber Defence Training Flight). After the unit was disbanded, it went to No. 22 OTU in Aug 1944, which was a night bomber training unit. After No. 22 OTU was disbanded in Jul 1945, the Hurricane was used as an instructional airframe. It went on display outside St. George's Chapel at Biggin Hill in 1954. The faired over ports next to the landing light would have carried 20mm Hispano-Suiza cannon. The Mk.IIC became the highest produced Hurricane variant.
