French Air Force Mirage 2000N 354 with code 125-BJ operated by EC 2/4 "La Fayette" from Istres, is seen returning from a TLP mission at Albacete. Dassault developed the Mirage 2000N for nuclear strike. Since the Mirage 2000N's standard weapon was the ASMP, which was carried on the centerline pylon, this meant that it could not carry a centerline tank, but a distinctive big 2,000 litre (530 US gallon) underwing drop tank with a bulbous nose was developed and the aircraft is seen here carrying two of these in this picture.

The badge of the wing consists of the famous Don Quijote, a fictious literary character which came to live in 1605! Ala 14 is one of Spain's combat wings, flying the Eurofighter EF-2000 Typhoon (or Tifón in Spanish) from Albacete since 2013. The wing was founded in 1974 and previously flew the Mirage F1. The badge of the wing consists of the famous Don Quijote, a fictious literary character which came to live in 1605!
