Ala 14 is one of Spain's combat wings, flying the Eurofighter EF-2000 Typhoon (or Tifón in Spanish) from Albacete since 2013. The wing was founded in 1974 and previously flew the Mirage F1. The badge of the wing consists of the famous Don Quijote, a fictious literary character which came to live in 1605! Albacete is home of NATO's Tactical Leadership Programme (TLP), and during one of these exercises this two-ship consisting of C.16-49 and uncoded C.16-56 was photographed returning from their mission.
