Several Tiger Moths were exported from Australia in 1969 to US buyers and VH-FBR was one. It became N17565. Several of these aircraft were dismantled and packed for shipping at Camden, on Sydney's south-west fringe.

Built as an AS.5 and served in the Korean War. Converted to TT.5 and that marks yellow and silver scheme applied. Seen after retirement at Camden in the based aircraft museum.

Ex G-AHFU, VH-DUL was registered in February 1958. In September 1975 it was officially withdrawn from use but had not flown for three years. It was restored to the register as VH-UXS in 1995 but by 2017 had still not flown. Its hangar mates in the photo are DH84 Dragon VH-SNB, Fairchild Argus VH-BLB and Republic Seabee VH-MJO. More interesting than the average hangar.

VH-DJG was registered from August 1966 until it was withdrawn from use in May 1992.

The Minicab was one of the types approved for home construction in Australia in the 1960s. They were known in Australia as De Bearn Minicabs after the French company that supplied the plans. VH-DCU was registered in April 1963 and was withdrawn from use in 1980.

VH-BVU, which was registered in 1958, is photographed at Camden ahead of being shipped to the US, where it became N350JT.

Geoff's Surf Shop was an Adelaide business that used the Tiger Moth for shark patrols in the 1960s. VH-BNI (ex RAAF A17-613) was civilianised in 1949 and remained on the register in 2017.

Formerly G-AIXM, VH-BLB came on to the Australian register in 1952. It was current in 2017.
