This B737 (one of the old and noisy kind) was acquired by American through their take-over of AirCal in 1987. It was withdrawn from use a year after this photo was taken, and then spent some years in Mexico, before ending up with an airline in Peru in 1998. It was acquired by the Peruvian Air Force in 2005, but by 2014 they had abandoned it in a boneyard at Lima-Callao.
