Sold to Anthony Hutton in June 1973, he in turn sold it in Australia and it was cancelled from the UK Register in October 1975. This 1974-production Warrior was registered new in Australia on 23 January 1975. It has possibly been up-engined to -161 standard as the signwriting on the cowling says it has 160hp. Seen here at the Antique Aeroplane Association of Australia's National Fly-in.

This Tyabb-based Comanche B was visiting the Antique Aeroplane Association of Australia's National Fly-in. Built in 1966, it was registered new in Australia on 27 July that year.

This 1974 Skywagon was initially registered N52030. In 1988 it was exported to Australia, being registered VH-NDD on 13 December that year. Currently Queensland-based, it's seen here at the Antique Aeroplane Association of Australia's National Fly-in.

This Parrot was ferried across the Tasman as ZK-EAB and delivered to the RAAF as A19-039 on 12 June 1975. It served with 1 FTS at Point Cook and was retired in the early '90s, civilianised and became VH-WCT on 17 January 1994. Based in WA for a time, it's now resident in NSW. Seen here at the Antique Aeroplane Association of Australia's National Fly-in.

A long way from home, this Northern Territory-based RV-6 was visiting the Antique Aeroplane Association of Australia's National Fly-in. It was first registered on 22 November 1994. That IS a big boat for a joint that's a long way from the sea!

This lovely and snazzily-painted 1948 Cessna 140, named 'Xena', was originally registered in the USA as N72877. In 1990 it came to Australia and was registered VH-WKG on 28 March that year. It's seen here taxying for departure from the Antique Aeroplane Association of Australia's National Fly-in.

This aircraft was formerly the Cessna Asia-Pacific demonstrator, N400NM - see my photo of it at the Avalon Airshow in 2009. Shortly after the Avalon Airshow, on 6 April 2009, the aircraft was re-registered in Australia as VH-CSV(4). Based in Hay, NSW, it was visiting the Antique Aeroplane Association of Australia's National Fly-in.

This venerable Cherokee was registered new in Australia on 6 September 1967. It belongs to my good friends Ian and Jenny, and lives on a farm strip at Longwood. A recent repaint and it looks as good as new! Seen here at the Antique Aeroplane Association of Australia's National Fly-in.
