Surely the best colour scheme going around on a Harvard today? Although painted in this superb USN scheme, this aircraft was actually built as AT-6C Harvard Mk II, USAAF 41-33767, to an RAF order (EX794). It was, however, shipped straight to New Zealand in August 1943 and became NZ1051. It served with the RNZAF until 1978 when it was sold. This aircraft was registered new as VH-TRJ on 10 February 1967, one of about a dozen locally-produced Airtruks retained in Australia. Operated by Hazair at Albury up to August 2010, it appears to have changed hands although still carrying Hazair titles.
