Built in 1959 as a genuine nosedragger Tri-Pacer, it was registered new in Australia as VH-PSW. Rebuilt as a taildragger and up-engined, it seems to have been re-registered in December 1985. Registration was subsequently changed to VH-PCR(2) to free the original rego for a new RV-7 being built.
