Destroyed on 12 July 2004 when in service with Dodita Air Cargo. Following an engine fire, it ditched in the sea 54 km south of Beef Island, en route from San Juan to Sint Maarten. One of the two crew was lost in the crash.

During the Phantom Phinale Photocall all operational 56 and 74 Sq Phantoms were lined up. An impressive display!

When 56 sqn went operational on the Tornado, BAe Warton sent their chase plane Lightning to Wattisham in the old fashion bare metal colors. Fitted with overwing fuel tanks old times revived.

In 1992 32 FS swapped their F-15C for 'new' F-15As. These had a new very low viz painting.

VH-EWP was registered to Associated Airlines not long before this photo was taken. The owner appears to have been the Australian navy which bought it in 1989 and became the owner again in 2006. Associated may have provided the AOC needed civil operations. VH-EWP was sold to Fugro LADS in early 2010. It undertook survey work outside Australia. In March 2011 it was at Opa-locka, Florida in need of a scheduled overhaul but was scrapped instead.
