Delivered new Jul 85. To Aloha Airlines Jan 96 as N817AL. Later ZS-IAD Safair and 5N-IZB with Chanchangi Airlines and Omni Blue. Retired circa 2017.

Acquired May 87 ex Conair C-GPEG. Stored Fairbanks Aug 2007. Used for spares by Everts Air.

Although devoid of titles or logo, it was operating with ERA Aviation.

Acquired ex Braniff N479BN. Later to Express One International and then Capital Cargo International Airlines. Retired Dec 2011.

Unloading after our return from Saint Paul AK with Captains Gary Lintner and Wayne Russel. Gary was the F/O on the company's L-188 Electra N1968R involved in a major, and well documented, emergency in Jun 83. You can find it on YouTube.

For the curious among you, the photo is taken from Reeve Aleutian L-188 Electra N9744C having just arrived from Saint Paul AK.

Saint Paul Island is the largest of the Pribilof Islands, a group of four Alaskan volcanic islands located in the Bering Sea between the USA and Russia. Whilst in Anchorage a couple of friends and I decided it would be nice to go for a ride on an L-188 Electra. Reeve arranged for us to fly to St Paul and back. At the time St Paul had a gravel runway and I had the cockpit J/S for landing. The Station Manager took us for a quick ride to see walruses and sea lions in their wild habitat. Flight times were 2:14 and 2:30. Back in ANC the frame's total time was logged as 41411 hours.

It was written off in an accident just short of Russian Mission AK 20 Jul 96. Due to an engine fire it was positioning for an emergency landing when the right wing folded upward and control was lost.

A rare sight at CYWG as these Kelner aircraft normally kept to Northwestern Ontario. It was wrecked on 15 October 1999 when a wing tip struck the surface of Ranger Lake/ON whilst manoeuvring to avoid a flock of birds.
