Tragically this beauty was destroyed and the 4 occupants killed when, following an engine fire, it suffered a structural failure whilst attempting an emergency landing at Russian Mission-Nunvotchuk Lake Airfield, AK., on 20th July 1996.

It was written off in an accident just short of Russian Mission AK 20 Jul 96. Due to an engine fire it was positioning for an emergency landing when the right wing folded upward and control was lost.
