Another type for me as I had just got off this Beech 1900C having flown in from DFW via Waco. Returned the reciprocal route with N16RA.

A18-311 was sold to the Indonesia Navy as P-826

VH-SMJ was converted to an N22C in 1989 and sold to the Indonesia Navy as P-845 in 2004.

Part of the Fleet Air Arm Historic Flight, VH-NVY was trucked to Schofields for the air show. An attempt by a member of the team with no flying training to air taxi the Scout to a new location on November 10 resulted in substantial damage. -NVY was cancelled from the register. The MSN used here is from production and UK military serial lists. When registered in 1994 the MSN entered for -NVY was F9490, which is British Army Scout XP889. It was written off in a crash in February 1965.

N5229J was sold in Australia as VH-JBE and used for film-making.

VH-LCA was registered in April 1985.

VH-HMW was badly damaged in a forced landing at Camden, New South Wales, on December 5, 1987. Parts of it and Firefly WB518 were shipped to the US where they were restored as N518WB. The remaining parts of VH-HMW and WB518 were patched up and placed on the pole at Griffith, New South Wales, where WB518 had perched for 20 years.

VH-HCL was registered in August 1985 and withdrawn from use in 2008. Since then four other Robinsons have been registered VH-HCL (three R44s and another R22).

A65-78 was with the RAAF from 1945 until 1997. In 1999 it was flown to the RAAF Museum at Point Cook. At the time of the photo it was being used to develop camouflage for RAAF P-3 Orions.

VH-AUO was a late arrival for an Australian Auster, coming on to the register in 1978 as the former G-AJIM. It remained registered in 2017

Sold in Germany as D-IERA in 1986. Later returned to the Australian register as VH-NSX
