Appropriately registered, in March 1966 this was the first 727 received by Avianca. Leased to SAM as seen here and returned to Avianca in mid-1984. Sold to Aerosucre and converted to freighter in 1992. Last revenue flight in March 2015 and put on display at Museo Aéreo Fénix in Cali

Clearly showing its Transeuropa origins having been delivered as EC-BRX in July 1969, this Caravelle had quite recently arrived with Aerosucre having been acquired in August 1982. It was later painted in Aerosucre colours but was written off on 27th November 1986 when it overran the runway on a cargo flight and crossed a drainage ditch during an aborted take-off at Arauca.
