Indeed not the best picture. It's the Maritime Friendship that was to be delivered as M-1 to the Netherlands AF in the Antilles. In 1981 it still had its civilian test registration as it was still operated by Fokker. This aircraft was sold in 2002 and has been scrapped since.

Still in the south east Asia color scheme this CH-53 was a welcome guest at the Soesterberg air show in 1981.

During an approaching thunderstorm this Eagle hit turbulence during landing and smashed to the ground. The pilot escaped unharmed but the brand new aircraft was a write off.
