United Air Lines aircraft of origin, it passed through many hands. Believed to have been operating for Seagreen Air Transport (from Mar 78 to Nov 79) at the time of this photo. To N9076G May 81 and retired sometime in 1982. Scrapped by 1984.

With Air Haiti from Jul 73 until Dec 80. It was however initially reg HH-221 until Oct 78.

Previously N5541 with Eastern Air Lines, SE-FGB with Falconair Sweden and Voyageur 1000 both as N5541 and N12VG. Converted to freighter in May 76. To Hawaiian in Jul 78. Re-reg N345HA Mar 79. To Zantop International Sep 80. To Fred Olsen Jun 94 until Dec 99 as LN-FOO. Finished up back in the USA as N590HG and operated for Trans-Air-Link for a while. Retired circa 2004-2005.

Former operators were Overseas National as N831F, Spear Air as OH-SOA, National Airlines N7184C and Northwest Orient Airlines as N805US. Retired (with Andes) Feb 97 with a total of 54572 flight hours.

Reportedly owned by Omni Transport Inc when photo taken. It ended up flying for several operators in Colombia until it was destroyed as HK-3079G when it hit a hill during the approach phase into Villavicencio (Columbia) 9 May 95 in poor weather.

Unusually the first digit of the serial painted on this KC-135 is not the procurement year 1961. That was dropped so this 1964 purchase could have a five-digit tail number like other KC-135s. 64-14838 was upgraded to a KC-135R then modified for signals surveillance. It was acquired by the RAF as ZZ665 in 2011.

This was later converted to a KC-135T
