In September 2002, this machine was one of nine at the official hand-over ceremony to the Swiss Air Force, having been built in Emmen by RUAG Aerospace. Operated by Lufttransportstaffel 6 at Alpnach and in a steep turn during its display here.

The 1. vrtul'niková letka (1st helicopter squadron) at Prešov is the unit operating the Slovak Black Hawks.

Bell Helicopter Textron Canada built this one in 2015, first registered C-GADH. Soon exported to the USA as N538VV and exported to the Czech Republic in May 2016.

One of about two dozen A319/320s and 737s in storage here at the time, following pandemic travel bans. This one was withdrawn from use early May the previous year and became ES-SAX with Smartlynx Estonia in February 2022.

Built and delivered in 2008, test flown as the 5th D-HECY. Kicking up a bit of grass as it hover taxis in front of the crowd. The text above the police titles reads Integrovaný záchranný systém, IZS in short, being the Integrated Rescue System in which emergency and rescue services also take part.

Regi not applied externally. Originally D-ABKF with Air Berlin as of September 2009. Subsequently operated by Pegasus, Izair, Air Berlin Turkey, Jet Airways and GOL, with leasing/technical pauses inbetween. Stored here by SMBC Aviation Captial and would become ET-AYU. The A320s behind are OE-IRU (ex Vistara, would go to HiSky Europe) and VQ-BIT (ex Aeroflot, to Avion Express in 2022).

As the full colour badge shows, this is a 12th Combat Aviation Brigade Longbow, based at Ansbach in Germany. A sign put on the fence indicated it was operated by the 1-3rd Attack Reconnaissance Battalion within the brigade.

This Venom was on the static display together with an AH-1Z Viper, which was of course no coincidence as the Czech Air Force was to receive 10 of each at Náměšť air base, starting in 2023. The pair was traveling on a C-5 that was also put on static display. A toned-down version of New Orleans-based HMLA-773's Red Dog is on the rear engine casing.

This Sokol was built in 1949 and initially flew for the aeroclub at Bratislava - Vajnory (closed 2006) as OK-DHU. In 1959 it was exported to Germany and based at Konstanz with a private owner as D-ENEV. In 1996 the plane moved to Schärding - Suben (LOLS) and became D-ESOK but is now part of the Classic trainers collection based at LKLN, where it was photographed during the Classic Trainers Hangar 3 Open Day.

This P-51 was built in Dallas but too late to see action in WWII. It was purchased by the RNZAF and flown as NZ2406 until Nov. 1955 when it was offered for sale by the New Zealand govt. The fuselage survived for many years in storage with the RNZAF Museum until bought privately and transported, initially to the UK and then on to the US for restoration. This was completed in 2009, the plane was registered N5551D and painted as 44-13737 flown by Lt. Charles Buck during WWII. The plane is now part of the Classic Trainers stable and was photographed at the Classic Trainers Hangar 3 Open Day.

This Argus was built at Hagerstown as 44-83159 and shipped across the Atlantic aboard the SS Loch Dee, arriving in Port Said in Nov. 1944. It then flew with the RAF as KK502 from Hussein Dey in Algeria until June 1946, when it was flown to US Army Payne Field (now Cairo airport) for disposal. It became F-OAFY with the French in North Africa and then CN-TNV with the Morrocan Royal Aero Club at Tit Meli as a parachute plane. After languishing in a warehouse in Hamburg for many years it is now under restoration to flight by Classic Trainers as many of the type flew in Czechoslovakia post-WWII.

Finishing its flying display. Was delivered in May 2019 to LTG62, the sole remaining tactical transport unit in the Luftwaffe.

Náměšť-based Mi-171š, in service with the 222. vrtulníkovou letka (helicopter squadron), flying a display with a Mi-24 and a Mi-35. Built in 2005 with line number 22-10 and delivered on 5 September that year to Pardubice by An-124, together with 9868 that was in the static display here and two others.

This heavy lifter brought two USMC helicopters for the static display and would be on that same display itself as well. It was the 50th C-5M conversion, in 2016. The turn onto its temporary position after arrival apparently took its toll on the tyres.
