On display at the Luchtmachtdagen 2010. These much-respected little helicopters recently retired from the Netherlands Air Force after over 50 years of service.

Amazing picture of two Swedish Junkers seaplanes demonstrating in Amsterdam. S-505 (a temporary civil registration) was the German-built prototype of the K30 military version - sometimes called R42 in Sweden - of the G24 airliner. S-AABB was an R53 or K53, a Junkers A35 assembled by Junkers subsidiary AB Flygindustri. S-AABB would crash into the seaplane station due to wing failure, damaging the Dutch navy's Van Berkel W-A W54 which is also seen here. The photo gives a good idea of the location of the station on the east side of Amsterdam, actually opposite Schellingwoude village. The church of Durgerdam can be seen. Later to known as Fordair. The aircraft was originally delivered to Midway Airlines in November 1989 as N806ML. It was acquired by Ford in December 1992. Aircraft from the UK Ford Motor fleet were regular visitors to Maastricht because of the Ford car factory in nearby Genk (Belgium).

Rolled out after a super paint job! Effectively it had its previous c/s removed and the European Airlines logo added. Owned by Caribjet, it was only leased by EAL for a couple of months.
